We were on a long drive up to the mountains from Baltimore when we discovered this gem of a restaurant in Utica!!
It’s almost impossible to have a place with a 4.9 rating (from 600+ reviews) greatly exceed expectations but it was a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door.
It is clearly a Mom & Pop place, where the food and the atmosphere is the priority, and we could not have been made more welcome. Everyone was so friendly and nice and the food was delicious. It was the owner’s birthday so they even brought us surprise cake for the table.
How good was the food? Well not only did we have a huge lunch, we bought a few hundred dollars more food to bring for everyone we’re meeting at camp!!“

Before we moved to Virginia about 20 years ago, we loved the Phoenician. After our first visit back since we came back home in 2018 - we still do.
Our lunch was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had the souvlaki skewer and my wife had the chicken - both with rice. Came with a delicious (and simple) salad as well as sides. I had the feta and olives and my wife had the hummus. We shared both and absolutely loved it!!

“This is our second time at Ocean Blue and both times the experience was fantastic! The food was great! The salmon with the honey roasted carrots and spinach was wonderful. The grilled focaccia was so soft and delicious. My husband loved the butter cake for dessert! The service was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door to when we left the restaurant (thanks Terrance for being a great waiter!) The wine list is pretty extensive as well. Just a wonderful experience all around.
Dietary restrictions: This is one of the few places that I didn't have to modify my meal to allow for my dairy intolerance!“
